Each year Bloomberg supports the efforts of LHS through corporate volunteerism. Volunteer hours and donations are generously matched and help to provide positive outcomes for our shelter residents.
Exchange Physical Therapy Group has come alongside LHS to sponsor spay/neuter services for animals & pet-owners in need. They hold a large-scale event to raise awareness for this critical animal welfare issue.
Mack-Cali hosts multiple adoption-themed events for LHS at their Jersey City campus each year. They are dedicated to promoting animal welfare and pet adoption throughout northern New Jersey.
Verisk Analytics holds company volunteer days at the shelter. The hours spent in service are matched through a generous financial contribution toward our operating costs.
In 2019, Altru Brands launched Altru, a line of innovative functional water beverages that fuse exotic fruit flavors with electrolytes and antioxidants. Altru is committed to supporting the mission of LHS by donating a portion of the proceeds from the sale of its products to LHS, holding company volunteer days at the shelter, and donating Altru’s time and products at events held by LHS.
Instinct is New Jersey's only positive reinforcement board and train facility, offering full service 24/7 supervised training and special needs (behavior) training. Instinct provides effective, positive reinforcement dog training programs for NJ families, and welcomes rescue and adopted dogs!
Hartz Loving Paws™ helps shelters protect and care for pets until they find their forever homes. In July 2019, The Hartz Mountain Corporation partnered with Rescue Rebuild® to fund and support with volunteers the make-over of the Liberty Humane Society's cat room in order to improve the lives of the cats waiting for adoption and the volunteers who care for them. In addition, Hartz has donated products for dogs and cats in the care of LHS as well as offer product support at LHS's Bark in the Park event.
